CPC30320 Certificate III in Concreting (R2)

Course Overview

Are you currently working in the concreting field on residential and/or commercial projects? Or would you like to undertake a concreting traineeship? If so, this qualification is made for you! With our CPC30320 Certificate III in Concreting you will acquire the appropriate skillset and knowledge to work in the construction industry, as well as gain specialised concreting skills.

The construction industry strongly believes gaining the appropriate skillset and knowledge required for the industry will only occur with training and assessment that’s undertaken in a real or very closely simulated workplace environment. Therefore, this qualification requires all core units to be delivered in this context.

Completion of the General Induction Training Program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction work site. Successful completion of CPCCWHS2001 Apply OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry meets this requirement and is a prerequisite unit for many other units of competency.

For the purposes of eligibility under this Agreement, all Participants under this Program must meet the following criteria.

An Eligible Participant for this Program

MUST BE:

an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia; or
a Participant who has the right to work in Australia on a valid VISA prescribed by Construction Skills Queensland and who has been employed in the Queensland Building and Construction Industry for a period of 6 months or more; and
an existing Eligible Worker in Queensland; or
an unemployed Eligible Worker who has been unemployed for a period not greater than 6 months in Queensland; and
able to demonstrate RPL experience in 70% or more of the competencies required to complete the full Qualification.

MUST NOT:

be an Apprentice or Trainee.
hold a Certificate III in a Building and Construction and/or Civil Qualification.
through credit transfers, be able to achieve more than 50% of the number of the units required to meet the minimum 70% of the competencies for the recognition process.
be an Employee of an Authority.
be currently enrolled and participating in a Queensland secondary school program.
be a contracted trainer or assessor or existing worker of an RTO.
be funded by an Authority or such other source for delivery of the same Training being undertaken as part of this Program.
be funded for more than one Qualification under this Program.
be enrolled in more than one Qualification at a time under this Program (Building or Civil) and the Higher Qualifications Program (Building, Civil and Major Contractors) or a Skill Sets Program.
be a Participant seeking a Verification of Competency.
