The SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management provides a pathway to work in any hospitality industry sector as a departmental or small business manager. The diversity of employers includes restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops. This qualification allows for multiskilling and for acquiring targeted skills in accommodation services, cookery, food and beverage, and gaming.
This nationally recognised qualification reflects the role of individuals who possess a comprehensive knowledge of industry operations and apply a broad range of managerial skills to coordinate hospitality operations. They operate autonomously and responsibly and make a range of operational business decisions.
This Course is subsidised under the 2020-2025 Queensland VET Investment Programs administered by the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training (DESBT).

The co-contribution fee charged for a qualification represents the total cost to the student and include any enrolment charges (such as identification card charges), tuition fees, services fees, materials fees and all other costs associated with delivering the training and assessment services and awarding the qualification. This includes costs associated with criminal history checks which may be a prerequisite for vocational placement and employment in certain occupations.
