Description
Our CPC50210
Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) will give you the opportunity
to develop the skills to manage a wide range of building projects. You will
learn the principles, regulations and techniques of the building industry for low-medium
rise buildings and projects. You will learn how to coordinate the complete
construction of a residential, industrial or commercial building and take
responsibility for your work.
You will be
trained by industry professionals where you will develop specialised skills and
knowledge to pursue future employment in the construction business.
The construction industry strongly believes
gaining the appropriate skillset and knowledge required for the industry will
only occur with training and assessment that’s undertaken in a real or very
closely simulated workplace environment. Therefore, this qualification requires
all core units to be delivered in this context.
Completion of the General Induction
Training Program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction
Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a
construction work site. Successful completion of unit CPCCOHS1001A meets this
requirement.
Additional
units of competency may be required to meet builder registration requirements
in various States and Territories.
