The CHCSS00070 Assist Clients with Medication Skill Set equips care and support workers with the required skills needed in assisting clients with medication safely. You will develop a thorough understanding of what it means to have healthy body systems, how to administer medication correctly, and the correct way to document medication administration as required in their workplaces. This skill set is suitable for workers in aged care, disability support, community services, and healthcare, looking to build confidence and capabilities in their client care practices. This course would allow you to develop their ability to support independence for clients, ensure medication safety, and increase competence in the practical skills required in healthcare support positions.
2025-2028 Career Boost (General Training) is managed by the Department of Trade, Employment and Training (DTET).
