The CHCSS00082 Lead and Mentor Skill Set provides team leaders and managers with the essential abilities to effectively coordinate, mentor, and lead teams and individuals. In this study, you will develop skills in providing guidance, leading professional development, and improving team performance. This skill set is appropriate for anyone involved in community services, aged care, health care and any other related fields with a Certificate III or equivalent qualification or recognise equivalent skills through recognition of prior learning. Once the course has been successfully completed, you will be able to lead teams confidently, lead staff development and implement mentoring strategies to realise organisational and client-based outcomes.

Student must be an existing worker and be a current or emerging leader in the Community Services and Health industry. Students must already hold a Certificate III or higher level qualification in the Community Services and Health industry.
This fee can be paid by an employer, a family member, a friend, or another organisation, but it cannot be paid or waived. The fee amount represents the total costs to the student for the qualification, including materials costs.
